Step 1: Register

Step 2:
Book your lodging
There are several lodges and guesthouses available in and around Solwezi, but rooms sell out quickly during Marathon week. We strongly encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.
All accommodation bookings are handled directly between participants and the lodges. The event organizers are not involved in any booking processes, and any issues or concerns must be addressed with the lodges themselves.
If you prefer, we also have a local travel agent who can assist you with a turnkey travel package, tailor made to suit your individual needs. This option may be especially helpful for those looking for a seamless, all in one travel and lodging solution.

Collect your race pack

No collection on Race Day!
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
A valid Tessera ticket. A DPO is not a ticket and won’t be accepted.
Please make sure you receive a Tessera ticket after your DPO notification.
Bring a pen to registration.

PRIZE MONEY
Prize money will be awarded in two parts: a cash portion on race day, with the balance paid via EFT into the winner’s nominated bank account.
All prize payments are subject to final verification and confirmation by the Race Officials. Payment will only be processed once the officials are satisfied that the results are accurate and all race regulations have been complied with.
Race Officials will not enter into any negotiations or discussions with agents, coaches, family members, or third parties regarding prize money disbursement.
All communication relating to prize payments must be conducted directly with the athlete concerned.

Parking Spaces are limited. Take the Kansanshi Marathon bus if possible.
RACE DAY ENTRANCE INFO:
To enter Trident College on race day, please ensure you have the following:
• Runners & Participants: Must display your wristband or race bib for entry.
• Wristbands must be securely fastened on your wrist—loose or unfastened wristbands will not be accepted.
• VIP Guests: Must display their VIP wristbands and car entry discs on their dashboard for access.
• Normal card access holders will be allowed entry as usual.

No race pack collections will be available at the gate on race morning! Ensure you collect yours in advance to avoid disappointment.
Avoid delays at the gate! Make sure you have everything prepared well in advance for a smooth entrance.
